| Tyler Zetterstrom, Sea Hiker Coach I grew up swimming competitively and had become burnt out and bored with endless laps. Nevertheless, I was drawn to the water and spent much of my time participating in adventure swimming, freediving, and surfing. Once I discovered that formal swimming strokes can also be approached with the same elements of comfort and grace that enjoyed in other aquatic activities, I was inspired to move forward as a coach. Learning to swim with ease, without the endless hours of grueling laps, was an exciting link for helping others find the confidence to explore the aquatic adventures that are possible and that I have been exploring in my ocean travels around the world. I really enjoy taking a detailed approach and encouraging others to have a curiosity for learning and possibility. For Tyler's full bio and areas of interest, please click here. Note: Tyler is on leave in Europe for 2011-2012.
